Please join us at the June International Morning Tea to celebrate Malaysian cuisine. Malaysia cuisine reflects the multi-ethnic makeup of its population where the vast majority of Malaysia‘s population can roughly be divided among three major ethnic groups: Malays, Chinese and Indian. Malaysia’s culinary style in the present day is primarily a melange of traditional ethnic groups resulting in a symphony of flavours which make Malaysian cuisine highly complex and diverse.
Our hostess, Chris Burns, joined SWIC in 2005, is currently the Interest Group Convenor for North Shore Golf and is a past President. Chris lived in Malaysia with her husband Colin for many years. Thank you to our Malaysian member for assisting with the delicious food for the morning tea.
