Have you ever wanted to attend a cricket match but don’t like big crowds or don’t understand the rules? Join me at the North Sydney Oval and I will explain the basics of the game to you and answer your questions as best as I can. I regularly attend cricket matches and was heavily involved with my children’s cricket clubs in New Zealand. Come and support the highly successful Australian Women’s team as they take on the Sri Lankans in a T20 match. The T20 format is the shortest and most exciting of the three formats of the game. Each side gets 20 overs in which to score as many runs as possible. The games normally run for three hours so it is the perfect bite size introduction to one of Australia’s national games.
This event is in the school holidays. Please feel free to bring partners, friends and children. As the tickets are for general admission you can sit anywhere you like in the ground. We will have a meeting place for those who want to sit in a group. Bring a picnic or purchase food and drink onsite.
