Historic Vaucluse in the spring, what better way to spend a morning? Stunning harbour views, bush tracks, beaches and along the way see a number of properties once owned by the famous Wentworth family. This is a circular walk of 6-7 kms.

We’ll walk through the grounds of Vaucluse House to start the Hermitage Track.  This section of the walk takes approximately 30 minutes and involves some urban footpath walking, with a number of steps and inclines. Arrangements can be made for anyone wishing to avoid this part of the walk to join 30 minutes later at a precise location along the route.

The Hermitage Foreshore track has stunning views of Sydney harbour, Shark Island and Sydney Harbour Bridge. The track is a combination of boardwalk, rough uneven ground and steps through lovely bushland.   We pass by Queens Beach, Hermit Point, Milk Beach, Neilson Park,  and despite its name,  the beautiful Shark Beach.
