Dear movie lovers

Movie Group is back.

DATE: 26 October 2021

VENUE: United Opera Quays (formerly Dendy), 1 Macquarie Street, East Circular Quay

TICKETS: Please buy your own ticket, then gather in the foyer.

CONVENORS: Grace Mroz (0434 170 030) and Jennifer Lean (0434 782 182) are the Movie Group Convenors.

RSVP: There is no need to RSVP but if you are planning to attend, and in accordance with SWIC policy, please send us a copy of your Covid 19 vaccination certificate, with a copy to SWIC ([email protected]) so you can be registered for future SWIC events.

APRES MOVIE (Optional): 

We have the tradition of meeting up for lunch, drinks, coffee (whatever you fancy) at the Guylian Belgian Chocolate Cafe after the movies.

THE MOVIES THIS MONTH: 

10:00 am. EIFFEL – A semi-biographical film about the man who designed the Statue of Liberty and then in 1889, the Eiffel Tower (Subtitled).
10.10 am. NINE DAYS – A heart-felt and meditative vision of human souls in limbo, aching to be born again against unimaginable odds.
10.30 am. THE LAST DUEL – An historical epic based on actual events in 14th century France of two nobles whose grievances must be resolved in a duel to the death.
NOTE: The cinema will be enforcing government policy that requires all attendees to show proof of your vaccination status, so please  don’t forget to bring it with you.
