Hot and humid weather combined with a lot of step climbing will certainly be a challenge for those participating in this month’s walk. A circumnavigation of the coastline of McMahons and Blues Point, Sawmillers Reserve, Balls Head Reserve, the Coal Loader, Berry Island, followed by a walk through bushland before eventually arriving at Waverton Station, will make this walk both a challenge and offer some beautiful views of the harbour. The walk is around 11km and there will be limited places available.

It is expected that those attending will have a high level of fitness and be able to walk at a brisk pace.
