This is a guided tour which provides a fascinating in-depth look into the world of nuclear science and the important work that ANSTO does in the areas of health, the environment and delivering solutions for industry. This tour should include a visit to Australia’s only nuclear reactor OPAL, the Australian Centre for Neutron Scattering, the ANSTO Nuclear Medicine facility and the Centre for Accelerator Science.
Security is tight so you will be asked on the day to provide proof of identity.
Please note the café is shut on the weekends. If enough people are interested, we could go for lunch in nearby Menai.
