Thursday Afternoon Symphony has now been added to the Classical Music series. Performances by the Sydney Symphony Orchestra by a variety of composers commencing at 1.30pm.

These are two hour (with intervals) concerts with free pre-concert talks in the foyer usually by the musician who explains the music, talks about musicians and composers.

Georgian pianist Khatia Buniatishvili (1987) will  perform Pyotr Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No 1, then Donald Runnicles conducts Claude Debussy’s
(1862-1918) Images for Orchestra.

DATE: Thursday 2 November 2023

TIME: All performances are at 1.30pm.

VENUE: Sydney Opera House, Concert Hall.
