Chief Conductor Simone Young will open 2024 Classical Music Season with
Mahler’s Fifth Symphony on 29 February at 1.30 pm.
It’s an extraordinary creation in sound and scale and the fourth movement
Adagietto is considered as one of the best in all of classical music and the most
frequently performed.
