This month we propose a suburban walk through Balmain and Birchgrove. Not only will it be a great day out with something for everyone: 19th Century cottages, fabulous mansions with harbour views and a village atmosphere, but also, it is a leisurely 8km return walk from East Balmain wharf.

We will meet at 10am at East Balmain Wharf or at 9.35am at Circular Quay wharf 5 to take the F4 ferry at 9.42 (it stops at Milsons Point and McMahons point as well)

At the end of the walk, if you want to join us, we’ll have lunch at the East Village Hotel (with a nice terrace).

TIME: 10 am – 1 pm (+lunch)

MEETING POINT: Circular Quay or Balmain East Wharf

COST: Lunch at your own expense.
