Welcome to 2025 Season Opening Gala of Classical Music played by Sydney Symphony Orchestra in Opera House Concert Hall.
The first concert is Mahler’s Third Symphony conducted by Simone Young, one of the world’s greatest conductors, with SSO and two choirs – Sydney Philharmonia Choir and Sydney Children’s Choir.

Concert date is 20 February, Thursday at 1.30pm, with free pre-concert talk in the foyer starting 45 minutes before. There is one interval.
We will meet as usual, before the concert at the coffee/wine/canapés bar on the left side on the ground foyer ( after your ticket has been scanned).
After the concert same members like to go out for a small, late lunch, depends on the weather.

COST: Attendees to purchase own tickets
