The Museum That Goes To Sea!

[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]This Monthly Activity is a unique, half-day nautical experience visiting the Sydney Heritage Fleet, Australia’s largest collection of operation heritage ships and boats.

Cruise aboard a heritage vessel and tour the Heritage Docks & Workshop at Rozelle Bay. Morning Tea is included aboard the 1874 Tall Ship James Craig or in the tearoom overlooking Wharf 7 (subject to Tall Ship availability) and we will finish with lunch at Yoti (at own expense) at the Sydney Maritime Museum.

NOTE: All participants must wear sturdy covered footwear (sandals, stilettos or open toed footwear are prohibited) as the Heritage Docks & Workshop are an industrial construction site.

Time: 9.15am – 12.30pm (please note that the tour leaves at 9.30am sharp)

Meeting Place:  At the two big anchors in the paved courtyard outside the Australian Maritime Museum main doors at the western end of Pyrmont Bridge, Pyrmont

Transport Options:

By Light Rail: Alight at the Pyrmont Bay Stop (LH exit), cross over Pirrama Road lights and walk to ANMM

By Bus: Route 443 from stops in CBD

By Car: Park at Harbourside Secure Parking, located at 100 Murray Street, Pyrmont. Parking is also available at Star City Casino, a five-minute walk to the museum

By Ferry: Sydney Ferries’ Route F4 services Darling Harbour Loop runs approximately every half hour and stops at the Casino Wharf (5 minutes walk to the museum), Circular Quay Wharf 5, Milson’s Point, McMahon’s Point, Balmain and Darling Harbour’s  King Street Wharf (5 minutes walk over Pyrmont Bay Bridge to the museum).
