Rose Sorial and Nadia Fawzi came to Sydney from Egypt in the late 1960s with their families. Although they adore life in Australia, they both hold the city of Alexandria, in Egypt, dear to their hearts. Rose has been a SWIC member since 2003 while Nadia joined in 2004. Rose is currently President of the Egyptian Women’s Association. They are looking forward to sharing with us a little of their lives in Egypt, while also sharing some of their favourite sweet and savoury Egyptian specialties.
