We will then visit a women’s area. DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]The SWIC Craft Group (which is actually a ‘needlecraft’ group) meets on the first Friday of the month from March to November. At the beginning of the year (February or March) the group has a ‘welcome back’ lunch\, including a voluntary ‘show and tell’ of work by those who wish to do so. \nMeetings are held in the homes of those members who are able to host. The format is ‘Open House’ from 12noon to 4.00pm and members are welcome to come for an hour\, or two\, or the whole afternoon. Afternoon tea is provided and members put $3 in the kitty to help cover the hostess’s expenses. \nThe group’s craft interests include knitting\, crochet\, embroidery\, cross stitch\, quilting\, patchwork and tapestry.
