DESCRIPTION:We will start our walk at the Rose Bay ferry terminal\, then walk a short way through Rose Bay to join the start of the Hermitage Foreshore walk\, which offers spectacular views back to the city\, secluded coves and patches of remnant bush. We will emerge at Nielsen Park\, take a detour round Vaucluse Point\, and then follow the suburban streets to Watsons Bay\, crossing the bridge at Parsley Bay en route. The buildings showcase some of Sydney’s oldest and best preserved examples of colonial sandstone architecture. The National Art School Gallery is situated in what was the “A” wing of the old Gaol.
