SUMMARY:Challenging Walk - Hermitage Foreshore to Watsons Bay
DESCRIPTION:Please join us as we start at Rose Bay Ferry Wharf for this 8-10 km walk. We will start along New South Head Road to the 1.8 km Hermitage Foreshore Walk\, with spectacular views down the        harbour towards the city. This track emerges at Nielson Park\, where we will walk along Shark Beach\, emerging in the residential streets of Vaucluse. Some street walking and a stroll across Parsley Bay Bridge will bring us in turn to the suburb of Watsons Bay. DESCRIPTION:Rummikub is an exciting and fun game\, just right for exercising the little grey cells in our brains and for making new friends. If you don’t know the game\, it has a bit in common with the card game Rummy. It is very simple to learn\, has lots of twists\, and quickly becomes addictive! It is possible to play Rummikub with different numbers of people in one game. \nBeginners are welcome and there is no need to bring your own game. \nWe are currently playing weekly in members’ homes\, but there is no obligation to come every week. SUMMARY:SWIC's 24th Annual General Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Due to continued uncertainty around the planning of large social functions\, the Committee has decided that we will not be able to hold our usual Birthday Lunch in February. It has been decided\, however\, that we should go ahead with our AGM at that time as we are able to book a room large enough to allow for appropriate social distancing and\, in the unlikely event that a last-minute cancellation of the day is necessary\, any costs and upheaval of plans etc. would be at a minimum. Therefore\, \nNOTICE is hereby given that the 24th ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING of SWIC  will be held: \nOn:      Wednesday\, 10 February 2021 \nAt:       The Kirribilli Club\, 11 Harbourview Crescent\, Lavender Bay\, North Sydney \nAt:       10.45am  for 11.00pm \nPlease Note: The meeting will commence at 11.00 am sharp and only financial members of SWIC are entitled to attend. Please also note that there will be no admission to the room after the meeting has commenced. \nIn addition\, any matter to be put by a member\, or members\, to the AGM for consideration must be in writing (and if in the form of a Resolution\, signed by the Proposer and Seconder) and received by the Secretary of the Club at least twenty-eight (28) days prior to the date fixed for the holding of the meeting. The Agenda for the AGM will be forwarded to members prior to the meeting. \nThe Club is still seeking members to join the Committee in 2021 and is very appreciative of all members who decide to contribute to the running of the Club by nominating to serve on the Committee. SUMMARY:Short Walk - Rose Bay
DESCRIPTION:For our first activity this year we will walk the length of beautiful Rose Bay from the ferry wharf towards the city\, then back again.
