DESCRIPTION:Rummikub is an exciting and fun game\, just right for exercising the little grey cells in our brains and making new friends. If you don’t know the game\, it has a bit in common with the card game Rummy. It is very simple to learn\, has lots of twists\, and quickly becomes addictive! \nBeginners are welcome and there is no need to bring your own game. It is possible to play Rummikub with different numbers of people in one game. \nWe are alternating between holding Rummikub at the Kirribilli Club in Lavender Bay and in Catherine’s home in Cremorne. Generally\, we will play at the Club on the 1st and 3rd weeks of the month and at home on the 2nd week of the month. DESCRIPTION:The Biggest Morning Tea is a very important date in the SWIC calendar\, being our major annual fundraising event in support of the Cancer Council. Sadly\, due to the Covid-19 pandemic\, we had to cancel this very popular event last year\, so we are very excited about The Biggest Morning Tea 2021. \nThis year we will have a special guest. Our speaker\, Nicola Stokes\, is the CEO of Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation. Alternatively\, you can alight at the prior ferry stop\, i.e. Old Cremorne Wharf\, and it’s approximately a 10 minute walk to the right along the edge of the bay via Bromley Ave. \nTrain & Bus If you catch a T1 train to North Sydney station\, then walk for 4 minutes to North Sydney Station Blue St Bus Stand D\, you can catch a 230 bus to Mosman Bay Wharf\, then it’s a 5 minute walk to the left\, around the top of the bay – Mosman Rowers Restaurant is virtually opposite Mosman Bay Wharf. \nCar Parking can be difficult\, but sometimes there are parking spots nearly at the restaurant. It is possible to park somewhere in Avenue Road and catch the bus down to Mosman Bay Wharf\, then it’s a 5 minute walk to the left\, around the top of the bay – Mosman Rowers Restaurant is virtually opposite Mosman Bay Wharf.

DESCRIPTION:The Wollstonecraft Centre is undergoing reconstruction\, so please join us at Tresillian Willoughby\, 2 Second Avenue\, Willoughby\, for a tour through the Centre\, followed by morning tea. \nTresillian has 15 Family Care Centres across regional NSW\, the ACT and Victoria\, with four in metropolitan Sydney along with a Help Line\, providing nursing and psychology help to weary families with a baby or toddler. Its specialty is to support new Mums and Dads who struggle with the challenges that parenthood can bring. The aim of Tresillian is to ensure all expectant families and those with infants and young children will have access to quality parenting advice\, support and care which will enable them to raise their children with confidence within their own cultural context and values. \nTresillian Willoughby has occupied the Willoughby Centre since 1927\, with the old home now heritage listed. \nDATE: 24 June 2021 \nTIME: 10:30am – 12noon \nLIMITED TO MAX 20 \nVENUE: Tresillian Willoughby Family Care Centre\, 2 Second Avenue\, Willoughby\, NSW 2068 \nCOST: Free.
