DESCRIPTION:Rummikub is an exciting and fun game\, just right for exercising the little grey cells in our brains and making new friends. If you don’t know the game\, it has a bit in common with the card game Rummy. It is very simple to learn\, has lots of twists\, and quickly becomes addictive! \nBeginners are welcome and there is no need to bring your own game. It is possible to play Rummikub with different numbers of people in one game. \nWe are currently playing weekly in people’s homes\, but there is no obligation to come every week. DESCRIPTION:We are sure that you will all be fit and ready for this month’s Challenging Walk as walking was the one thing that we have all been allowed to do during lockdown. \nWe welcome back Jenny as Co-Convenor for the Challenging Walk after her adventure in London. Monique is away visiting family in The Netherlands\, so Catherine and Eleanor have planned the walk and Jenny has kindly agreed to take the RSVPs. \nWe will explore the bays and beaches of Mosman. We will meet near Spit Junction where we will head down to Beauty Point and pick up the beautiful Quakers Hat Bay foreshore walk. We will then walk under Spit Bridge and up Parriwi Rd to Chinaman’s and Balmoral Beaches before ascending to the coastal path towards George’s Head. Please note that this is a week earlier than normal so that we do not clash with the Celebration Morning Tea that the Committee has organised for 7 December. \nThe walk is about 10.5km on a bush track\, with some shade\, but much of it is exposed coastal path. Enjoy groves of trees and spring flowers\, sculptural rock shelves\, dramatic cliffs and excellent views of Sydney Heads on this much-loved Sydney staple.
