DESCRIPTION:Our starting point for the December Short Walk will be Milsons Point Station in Alfred Street\, the right exit facing the Harbour Bridge. We will continue under the pylon and around the foreshore to Wendy Whiteley’s Secret Garden. \nThis is a ‘Chill Out’ walk before the busy Christmas period and there are quite a few possibilities for a coffee or tea break. SUMMARY:Challenging Walk - TWILIGHT WALK from Spit Bridge to Georges Heights
DESCRIPTION:Our challenging walk for December will commence at 4.30pm at the Spit Bridge. Following the shoreline as much as possible\, we will walk along Chinaman’s\, Edwards and Balmoral Beaches. At Georges Heights we will move inland and take the local streets to a chosen restaurant in Mosman for our end of year (CW) meal before heading down Prince Albert St to view the Christmas Lights. \nPlease note that although this walk is shorter than usual (approx 2 hour brisk walk) it is quite strenuous (there are a number of stairs and the first part of the walk involves a steep incline up Parriwi Rd). \nPlease contact either Sue Gunter: susan.gunter@btinternet.com  or Jenny Goode: goodejenny@msn.com \nIt would be appreciated if you could let us know asap if you intend participating. December is a difficult month to book dinner for a large number of people. \n

Continue along the pavement for about a minute and you will see the Oaks’ first entrance with a huge plate glass window with a lovely maiden and jug of water fountain. Pass through to the garden at the back and prepare to be amazed! \nWe know this is an extra hop for some of you\, but this really is a special venue and we are also afraid we may have trouble booking a venue in the CBD in the holiday season\, so we hope you folks that are not from the North Shore would be willing to cross over and see something new.
