DESCRIPTION:In March a new walking track has opened on the banks of Sydney Harbour: a 3km trail from Georges Head to Middle Head Gubbuh Gubbuh showcasing the area’s historic military buildings and beautiful views across the Harbour. That’s what we propose you to explore this month. DESCRIPTION:The SWIC Craft Group (which is actually a ‘needlecraft’ group) meets on the first Friday of the month from March to December. At the beginning of the year  the group has a voluntary ‘show and tell’ of work by those who wish to do so. \nMeetings are held in the homes of those members who are able to host. The format is ‘Open House’ from 12noon to 4.00pm and members are welcome to come for an hour\, or two\, or the whole afternoon. Afternoon tea is provided and members put $4 in the kitty to help cover the hostess’s expenses. \nThe group’s craft interests include knitting\, crochet\, embroidery\, cross stitch\, quilting\, patchwork and tapestry.
