DESCRIPTION:The SWIC Craft Group (which is actually a ‘needlecraft’ group) meets on the first Friday of the month from March to December. At the beginning of the year  the group has a voluntary ‘show and tell’ of work by those who wish to do so. \nMeetings are held in the homes of those members who are able to host. The format is ‘Open House’ from 12noon to 4.00pm and members are welcome to come for an hour\, or two\, or the whole afternoon. Afternoon tea is provided and members put $4 in the kitty to help cover the hostess’s expenses. \nThe group’s craft interests include knitting\, crochet\, embroidery\, cross stitch\, quilting\, patchwork and tapestry. DESCRIPTION:Embark on a journey of discovery at the Western Sydney International (WSI) Experience Centre – a community engagement and education hub designed to showcase the exciting developments and endless possibilities of Western Sydney International Airport. Since opening our doors\, we’ve welcomed over 125\,000 visitors – from eager school groups to business leaders – all seeking to gain valuable insights into Australia’s first smart airport and its impacts on the region.  \nWSI Experience Centre is free of charge and offers immersive and interactive displays that take visitors on a journey to learn about Western Sydney International Airport. Visitors have access to project information\, digital engagement\, and learning opportunities. We also have the stunning backdrop of the airport site. On the outside of the building\, visitors will have a clear view of the terminal and portions of the runway. Our booking will include a presentation with the latest updates\, Q and A and an opportunity to have a look at our stunning backdrop off the airport (weather pending). The building is on ground level and is accessible to all people. \nLocated at Luddenham\, with the stunning backdrop of the airport site\, visitors will have an immersive\, visual experience and a clear view of the future airfield and be able to watch the airport come to life. \nIt’s the beginning of a new era and a place where connections will be made\, with people\, places and opportunities.
