[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Join us at the Grace Cossington Smith Gallery in Wahroonga to view the exhibition ‘Another Perspective with Paper’, where we will see the inventive ways 11 artists have used paper to create very different and diverse works of art.
“Paper is fragile and strong, absorbent and rigid, flat and bulky, pliable and solid, smooth and rough…and venerable to decay. Paper has been considered second best to other art materials, consequently there is a sense of freedom for an artist to experiment without worry of preciousness. Whether as a responsive and characterful surface to interact with or as a material to sculpt, paper responds readily to artists’ ideas and transformations.”
This exhibition includes work hung, projected, sculpted and encased.
