This iconic walk starts at the Spit Bridge. The ~10 km route hugs the coastline, providing bush, beach and beautiful views. It finishes at Manly Wharf. It is a well-formed track with short steep hill sections and some shade. You must not be carrying any injuries and be able to walk consistently at a moderate pace.

TIME: 9.30am – 1.30pm approximate which includes a picnic lunch along the way

VENUE: Meet outside the Ormeggio at The Spit restaurant

COST: Public transport expenses. Bring a picnic lunch.

TRANSPORT: Catch the B line bus from Wynyard to the Spit West Reserve, Spit Road (e.g., 172X, 173X). This should take about 30 mins. We will return to the city via ferry from Manly.
