Please find program for 2026 Season of Sydney Symphony Orchestra performing in Opera House Concert Hall.

In the 2026 Season of Sydney Symphony Orchestra there are nine ‘Thursday Afternoon Symphony’ concerts at 1.30pm with 45 minutes of pre-concert talks, and
six Friday ‘Tea & Symphony’ morning concerts at 11am.
Members usually meet for lunch/ drinks before or after the concert at the House Canteen under the Opera House.

15 May, – 11am, music by Stravinsky and Hindermith
18 June, – 1.30pm , music by Schumann and Beethoven with Anja Bilhmaier conducting
23 July, –  1.30pm, music by Beethoven with Simone Young conducting
15 Oct,  –  1.30pm, music by Tchaikovsky and Beethoven, Donald Runnicles conducting
6 Nov, –  11am, music by Bach and Mozart with Simone Young conducting

Another interesting event by SSO is Open Rehearsals in Concert Hall at 7pm. You be able to see and hear preparation required
to bring a concert to the stage.
Seats, only in Lower Circle cost $50, program is very popular so buy asap :
