Join us for an easy 6 km walk exploring Middle Head.  Formally occupied by defence forces it has played a strategic part in Sydney’s defence history.

We will meet at 10am at the Rawson Oval Pavilion and head towards Headland Park then to Middle Head. We will encounter military remnants, heritage buildings, natural bushland, scenic outlooks with spectacular harbour views as well as learn more about the history of Sydney’s defence.

On our way back we will stop at the Middle Head Café (French café with nice quiches and pastries) and finish the walk back to Mosman.

TIME: 10 am – 2 pm

MEETING POINT: Rawson Oval Pavilion (Mosman Oval)

COST: Lunch at the Middle Head Cafe at your own expense.
