Newtown is ground central of Sydney’s mural art scene.   Join us for a two-hour Newtown Street Art discovery tour.

Leaving Newtown Station at 10 am we will head down King Street to Camperdown Cemetery in Church Street.  Camperdown Cemetery, the oldest one in Sydney was founded in 1848 and was for twenty years the main general cemetery for Sydney. Our tour continues to Lennox Street and surrounds giving us the opportunity to discover many murals in varying styles. Our tour concludes with lunch at the popular Barmuda Café after which we will return to Newtown Station.

DATE: Wednesday 12 April 2023.

TIME: 10 am – 12 noon

MEETING POINT: Meet in front of Newtown Station

COST: Lunch (optional) at your own expense at “Barmuda” café.
