Every once and a while we all need a night out with like-minded ladies for a drink and a laugh! Come just for an hour, or come for the evening. This is a low key event just to get out and enjoy a bit of Sydney nightlife after work or some quick “adult-time” before family members get home. We’re not sure how many of you will have abandoned Sydney by this point and with Holiday Parties it may be a total Madhouse. We’re going to try something a little different…. We are going to invite everyone north of the Harbour Bridge to one of Sydney’s most famous pubs, and by the way they do some of the best steaks in Sydney.

TRANSPORT:

The easiest access to The Oaks from the CBD is to take any bus from Wynyard Carrington Stand A (be sure not to get on one of the express buses from the other stands unless you ask if they are stopping at Big Bear Shopping Centre!) and get off at the first stop, Big Bear Shopping Centre. Continue along the pavement for about a minute and you will see the Oaks’ first entrance with a huge plate glass window with a lovely maiden and jug of water fountain. Pass through to the garden at the back and prepare to be amazed!

We know this is an extra hop for some of you, but this really is a special venue and we are also afraid we may have trouble booking a venue in the CBD in the holiday season, so we hope you folks that are not from the North Shore would be willing to cross over and see something new. I promise you, it’s worth it!
