Go Saturday – Elizabeth Farm, Rosehill

Saturday, April 24, 2021 @ 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM

One of Sydney’s ‘Living Museums’, this historic estate is regarded as one of the oldest colonial buildings in Australia. Built for John and Elizabeth Macarthur in 1793, this delightful cottage was later transformed in the late 1820s into a stately country house, surrounded by exquisite gardens engineered to delight the senses. Join ‘Go Saturday’ as we stroll down into the nostalgic lanes of Australian colonial history.

This activity may be of interest to SWIC Book Group members who have just read and discussed Kate Grenville’s “A Room Made of Leaves”.
