Learn about Australia’s first and (so far) only Saint. In the first Go Saturday for 2020 and  to kick off the season, we will explore the fascinating Mary MacKillop Place Museum. This museum is housed in the original ‘Practice School’ for novices built in the 1900s and offers an insight into the life of Mary MacKillop, beatified in 1994 and finally canonised in 2010. After exploring this museum we can pay respects to St Mary herself who is interred in the Mary MacKillop Memorial Chapel next door.
