For the second ‘Go Saturday’ activity, we will explore the Powerhouse Museum, the flagship venue of the Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences (MAAS). Here a diverse collection can be found covering science, technology, design and decorative arts, engineering, architecture, health, medicine, fashion and contemporary culture.
We will spend some time exploring the permanent exhibitions related to all of the above and admire the famous model of the Strasburg Clock. There is also the temporary exhibition ‘Reigning Men’ (which can be visited for an optional extra $5) exploring how men’s fashions have changed from 1715 to 2015.
DATE: Saturday 23 June 2018
TIME: 2.00pm-4.00pm, followed by optional refreshment time

COST: Adults $15 general entry, Concession $8 entry
