For the last lunch of the year, we are going for Korean barbecue, called Gogi-gui in Korean. Grilling meat over charcoal fire has a long tradition in Korea. We will be having an all wagyu beef feast, with some Korean Seafood Pancake. We will be offered various banchan (side dishes) typically served with Gogi-gui. A popular way of eating Gogi-gui is to wrap the meat with lettuce and add condiments such as spicy scallion salad and ssamjang, a spicy paste.
We have chosen 678 Korean BBQ Restaurant because it offers real charcoal grill on the table and a smoke extractor over the grill. Headcount is limited to 12 for this lunch because of the table setting.
