We can meet in the foyer before the films. Afterwards we usually go for a coffee or light lunch.
NOTE: This month we shall meet in the upstairs section of the City Extra Café/Restaurant opposite the Circular Quay Ferry Terminal (the Pullman Hotel’s Hacienda Bar where we previously met is no longer suitable).
M DRAMA
The Zookeeper’s Wife tells the account of keepers of the Warsaw Zoo, Jan and Antonina Zabinski, who helped save hundreds of people and animals during the Nazi invasion.
PG DRAMA
In 1947, Lord Mountbatten assumes the post of last Viceroy, charged with handing India back to its people, living upstairs at the house which was the home of British rulers, whilst 500 Hindu, Muslim and Sikh servants lived downstairs.
M COMEDY
A British film crew attempts to boost morale during World War II by making a propaganda film after the Blitzkrieg.
