Please find below details and times of the 3 newly released film choices on offer next Tuesday morning, 28 May.

The date is always the 4th Tuesday morning of the month.

The venue is always Dendy Cinema Opera Quays – next to Guylian Cafe and opposite Sydney Cove Oyster Bar, Circular Quay.

Please bring name badges and look out for each other in the foyer.
Purchase your own tickets.
For reduced prices and other benefits, you can join Club Dendy at reception or online.

The after-movie meeting venue is Buckley’s, East Circular Quay – a 5min stroll from the cinema. It is a pub-style cafe where you order at the counter. Please note there is no coffee or tea available.
We have a flexible booking under ‘SWIC Movie Group (Iolanda)’ from approx 12noon.

A look at the final days in the life of playwright William Shakespeare. The year is 1613, and Shakespeare is acknowledged as the greatest writer of the age. But disaster strikes when his renowned Globe Theatre burns to the ground. Devastated, Shakespeare returns to Stratford, where he must face a troubled past and a neglected family. Haunted by the death of his only son, Hamnet, he struggles to mend the broken relationship with his wife and daughters. In so doing, he is ruthlessly forced to examine his own failings as a husband and father.

Award-winning Australian director Damon Gameau (That Sugar Film) embarks on a journey to explore what the future could look like by the year 2040 if we simply embraced the best solutions already available to us to improve our planet and shifted them rapidly into the mainstream. Structured as a visual letter to his 4-year-old daughter, Damon blends traditional documentary with dramatised sequences and high-end visual effects to create a vision board of how these solutions could regenerate the world for future generations.

From the studio that brought you ‘Bad Moms’ and the producer of ‘Book Club’, Martha (Diane Keaton) is an introverted woman who moves to Sun Spring retirement community that has shuffleboard, golf, bowling and other activities. Hoping to be left alone, she meets Sheryl (Jacki Weaver), a fun-loving neighbour who insists that they become best pals. After coming out of her shell, Martha and her new friend decide to form a cheerleading squad with their fellow residents. As the two women hold auditions, they soon learn that it’s never too late to follow your dreams, even when the odds are stacked against you.
