DESCRIPTION:Join us for our first Short Walk for the year.  We will meet at the Sydney Fish Market at Pyrmont\, walk along the foreshore of Blackwattle Bay to the Tramsheds where we can enjoy a well-earned coffee. This walk is part of the Glebe Foreshore Walk\, an easy flat 3.5 km taking in Bicentennial Park\, Federal Park\, Jubilee Park\, and Pope Paul VI Reserve. \nThe route we will follow is shown below except we will stop at the Tramsheds for refreshments (Blue icon on map) near Jubilee Oval. SUMMARY:Short Walk - Sydney Cove Foreshores to Barangaroo
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a stroll steeped in history. We will meet at Circular Quay\, walk along the foreshore towards the Overseas Passenger Terminal checking out any ocean liners that may be in port.  Our walk will continue past a row of former warehouses built in 1839 which were just a few years ago home to trendy waterfront restaurants but are now undergoing renovation. The walk then will skirt past the Park Hyatt which\, facing the Opera House and in the shadows of the Harbour Bridge\, may claim to have the best vantage point in Sydney. We will then continue to Dawes Point\, the site of Sydney’s first cemetery. DESCRIPTION:This is a 2 km flat walk along The Goods Line in central Sydney. The Goods Line is the site of an old busy railway freight corridor opened in 1855 and closed in 1984. It is now a path surrounded by important cultural\, educational and media institutions. Information is provided along the route.\nThe path ends at the Powerhouse Museum where we can have a coffee. DESCRIPTION:Join us for a stroll along the iconic Sydney Harbour foreshore.  We will meet at Wharf 2 Circular Quay\, follow the foreshore past the Opera House onto Mrs Macquarie Chair\, and finish for a well-earned coffee at Andrew (Boy) Charlton Poolside Café.
