SUMMARY:Sydney Botanic Gardens guided walk
DESCRIPTION:Inaugural outing of new Garden Visits group! \nThis guided walk of the Sydney Botanic Gardens will explore its remarkable history\, botany and wildlife over 1.5-hours. Led by knowledgeable volunteer guides\, we’ll discover the Garden’s plant diversity\, living collection (garden display) as well as its our science and conservation. Late Spring is an ideal time to visit and the guide will adapt the walk for this time of year. \nThe walk will be followed by a light lunch at the Botanical Gardens Café. \nSince this is a new group\, we will discuss how the group will operate and plan future garden visits for 2025. Everyone is encouraged to nominate their own favourite gardens and to coordinate visits to these during the year. \nDATE: Tuesday 19 November \nTIME: 10.15am for a 10.30am start \nFinish: 12.00 pm\, Lunch at the Botanical Gardens Café\, Farm Cove Eatery. \n MEET: Location \n\nSydney Botanic Gardens\, Woolloomooloo Gate (further details will be sent following confirmation).\n\nCOST: $14 per person – book and pay on the SWIC website. \nRSVP TO: Julia Hubbard: juliahubbard10@icloud.com – please include your mobile number. \nRSVP & PAY BY: Tuesday 12 November.
