SUMMARY:Explore Sydney - Vaucluse and the Hermitage Foreshore Walk
DESCRIPTION:Historic Vaucluse in the spring\, what better way to spend a morning? Stunning harbour views\, bush tracks\, beaches and along the way see a number of properties once owned by the famous Wentworth family. This is a circular walk of 6-7 kms. \nWe’ll walk through the grounds of Vaucluse House to start the Hermitage Track.  This section of the walk takes approximately 30 minutes and involves some urban footpath walking\, with a number of steps and inclines. Arrangements can be made for anyone wishing to avoid this part of the walk to join 30 minutes later at a precise location along the route. \nThe Hermitage Foreshore track has stunning views of Sydney harbour\, Shark Island and Sydney Harbour Bridge. It is the largest island in Sydney Harbour\, and was off-limits to the public for more than 100 years. It is a relatively easy and good walking track except for the new section added along the back of the rifle range which is steep and with stairs. The new section now makes this a loop all the way around.
