SUMMARY:Challenging Walk – Bundeena to Marley Beach
DESCRIPTION:This months walk goes from the small town of Bundeena to one of the largest beaches in the Royal National Park. The walk has great views of the coast as it heads south through the heath and along the rockshelf. The walk then descends to Marley Beach where we can enjoy some lunch before retracing our steps back to Bundeena. \nThe walk is approximately 12km long and will take about 3 ½ hours to walk at a steady pace\, a good level of fitness is required. \nDATE: Tuesday 4 April 2023 \nTIME: Approx 9am – 2pm \nVENUE: Bundeena Wharf \nRSVP TO: Wendy Gerrard at wendygerrard@gmail.com \nRSVP BY: Friday 31 March 2023 \nTRANSPORT: Train from Town Hall to Cronulla. Ferry to Bundeena and return. Cost of ferry is $8.30 each way (concession $4.15). Opal cards are not accepted on this ferry.

SUMMARY:Challenging Walk – Lane Cove National Park
DESCRIPTION:Our first walk of 2023 will be in Lane Cove National Park\, a beautiful pocket of bushland that sits either side of the peaceful Lane Cove river. We will follow the riverside walk for 5km before crossing over and returning via the northern riverbank along the Great North Walk. \nThe walk is approximately 11-12km long and will take about three hours to complete at a steady pace.
