DESCRIPTION:This annual event is the occasion when not only do SWIC Book Group members  vote for our reading program for 2025 but\, crucially\, hosts and presenters are allocated for both North Shore and Eastern Suburbs for the entire year. \nDATE: Tuesday 12 November 2024 \nTIME: 12.15pm – 3.00pm \nVENUE:  Cruising Yacht Club of Australia (CYCA)\, 1 New Beach Road\, Darling Point NSW 2027 \nThis is a very attractive location which hosts the annual Sydney/Hobart Yacht Race. \nCOST: Members will pay individually on the day\, ordering from the menu\, and purchase drinks from the bar. \nRSVP TO: Wendy Phillips wendyphillips46@gmail.com or Suzie Canham canhamsuzie@aapt.net.au \nRSVP BY: 4 November 2024\, preferably earlier \nTRANSPORT: \nThis is a very accessible venue. \nCar: Parking is on the street and car sharing is encouraged. \nBuses: The 324 and 325 buses from the city run every 15 minutes. Alight at Rushcutters Bay on New South Head Road and turn left onto New Beach Road. A short walk and the CYC is on your left.\nTrain: The nearest station is Edgecliff. Cross the road opposite the station and it is a short downhill walk until you turn right onto New Beach Road.\n
