SUMMARY:Monthly Activity - Tour of Brain and Mind Centre (WAITLIST)
DESCRIPTION:The Brain and Mind Centre’s multidisciplinary research teams at the University of Sydney\, are at the forefront of brain and mind sciences. They collaborate across industries and disciplines to find answers to some of the world’s greatest health challenges\, including: \n\nChildhood development and behaviour\, such as autism and behavioural disorders\nYouth mental health and addiction\, including youth\, addiction\, gambling and mental health policy\nAgeing and neurodegeneration\, such as dementia\, motor neurone disease\, multiple sclerosis and Parkinson’s disease.\n\nIn this visit\, we are going to tour their state-of-the art facilities\, as well as hearing the scientists explaining about their collaborative and innovative research\, with the aim of making a real difference in people’s lives. \nDATE: Thursday 27 February 2020 \nTIME: 1.00pm – 3.00pm (NOTE: This is an afternoon event so we can visit the laboratory of the Chief Scientist for Regenerative Diseases) \nVENUE: Brain & Mind Centre\, 94 Mallett St\, Camperdown NSW 2050 \nCOST: Free (max of 20 people) \nRSVP TO: activity.swicsydney@gmail.com   Attn. to Kesty Pringgoharjono – Monthly Activities Coordinator \nRSVP BY: 22 February 2020 \nTRANSPORT: Please look at Google Maps or Transport NSW \nTRAIN or BUS// – Central Train Station and connect with Bus no. 440 \nPARKING // Parking on local streets is regularly monitored and are 2 hour limits.
