SUMMARY:East Meets West Lunch – Nikkei Bar and Restaurant
DESCRIPTION:This month we go for Peruvian with a Japanese twist. We will be having a set menu with various entrees to share. Nikkei also offers a list of very interesting alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails. Please advise of any dietary restriction for the main course. \nThe name Nikkei refers to people of Japanese ancestry living abroad as citizens of other countries. It also specifically refers to the cuisine of the Japanese-Peruvians which started more than a century ago when the first Japanese immigrated to Peru in the late 1890s. Combining Japanese techniques and flavours with local Peruvian produce\, a diverse and unique cuisine was born.
