DESCRIPTION:Paddington is the largest intact Victorian precinct in the world. Come and learn about this unique area in a 90 minute walk. With our Guide\, we will visit Oxford Street with its historic buildings for the gentry; William Street\, where workmen’s cottages have transformed into craft retailers; typical laneways clearly designed for horse drawn traps; leafy Paddington; artistic Paddington; and finish at one of Paddington’s entertainment hubs\, ‘Five Ways’ where dinner will be an option around 7.30pm. \nDATE: Thursday 21 March 2019 \nTIME: Tour 5:30pm for a 5:45pm start and Dinner option at 7:30pm* Please indicate if you will be staying for dinner \nVENUE: Meeting point – the ‘Egg Swing’\, Royal Hospital for Women Park\, Glenmore Road\, Paddington NSW 2021 \nCOST: Free for walking tour. From the Victoria Barracks stop\, walk back to Shadforth St\, turn right on Shadforth\, then turn right on Walker Lane and then left onto Brown St\, where the gardens are located. Walk through the gardens to the ‘Egg Swing’.
