DESCRIPTION:In one of the coldest months of the year\, August\, we will splurge on a fancy lunch at the famed Japanese restaurant\, Tetsuya’s. Tetsuya’s Restaurant is housed in a heritage-listed building in the middle of Sydney CBD\, that one can walk by so many times without even noticing it. But once inside\, you will feel that you are instantly transported to a serene oasis with a Japanese garden and secret Japanese partitions. Our co-convenor\, Pauline\, has negotiated a six-course degustation menu including a glass of French Champagne and gratuity for $200 in a private dining area exclusively for us. \nPlease note that the lunch will be held on Friday instead of Thursday in August. This is because Tetsuya’s is not open for lunch on Thursday. \nDATE: Friday 5 August 2022 \nTIME: 12:00noon – 2:00pm \nVENUE: Tetsuya’s Restaurant\, 529 Kent Street\, Sydney NSW 2000 \nCOST: $200 for a six-course degustation menu including a glass of French Champagne and gratuity.
