This new group for 2023 is aimed at any SWIC members who enjoy Classical Music from a variety of composers.

Tea and Symphony Concerts. One-hour performances by the Sydney Symphony Orchestra.

The next concert is Ottorino Respighi, Italian composer (1879-1936), renowned for the lavishly
orchestrated Roman Trilogy which celebrate the city’s architectural marvels, its festivals, pines and fountains.
British conductor John Wilson’s (1972) recording of the Roman Trilogy was recognised as the best available.

DATE: Friday 12 May 2023

TIME: All performances are at 11am-12md. We will meet at 10.15am for complementary tea, coffee and biscuits in the Opera House. Following the performances, we will have lunch at House Canteen on the Lower Concourse (members purchase their own lunch).

VENUE: Sydney Opera House, Concert Hall.
