Explore the historical neighbourhood of Redfern and charming Surry Hills.

We will meet at Redfern Station at 10am and walk to Carriageworks, a multi-arts urban cultural precinct located at the former Eveleigh Railway Workshops.    Continuing our tour, we will traverse to Redfern Street and its surrounding streets immersing ourselves in the historical, political and the New Redfern. Departing from Redfern Park we will head to Surry Hills, a charming area full of shops and restaurants.

TIME: 10 am – 12 noon

MEETING POINT: Meet in front of Redfern Station (Lawson St with Gibbons St)

COST: Lunch in Surry Hills (optional) at your own expense.
